Koichi Abe
Executive Vice President and CTO, Toray

Mr. Abe was born in 1953. After graduating from Osaka University in 1977, he joined Toray. He en- gaged in film research, focusing on polyesters. Certified as a Research Fellow in 1996, he served as director of film research, director of Toray,s Aichi Factory, member of the board in 2005, CTO in 2012, and Executive Vice President in 2014.
